About RW Yacht Design

My name is Robert Witzier and I started RW Yacht Design in 2011. I have been working in the yachtbuilding industry for nearly 20 years. The past years I have been focussing more on designing yachts and small craft. With know-how, experience, enthusiasm and passion I am designing yachts and other craft for yards and individual clients.

My experience in designing and engineering yachts and small craft was gained in the following companies – a wide range, but always specialising in yachts and small craft:

• Oceanco, project leader
  Engineering large yachts as Idefix (42m), Lazy Z (50m), Sunrise (52m), Stargate (80m).
• Martin de Jager Yacht Design, project leader
  Designing, engineering and building yachts and small craft for a.o. Menken Maritiem, De Drait Yachting, Laky Verf and many others.
• Holland Superyacht Industries, project leader and designer
  Designing large yachts.
• SE Engineering, naval architect and designer
  Designing and engineering for a.o. Heesen Yachts, Scheepswerf Bocxe, Damen Ship repair, ’t Smidtje and Canal Company.
• Van der Heijden Yachts, naval architect, head design
  Designing several new yachts from 15–32 meters.
• KME BV, project leader and naval architect
  Projects ranging from a small Damen patrol vessel to lengthening several vessel and large off-shore modules.

  Construction and outfit for 90+ meter yachts.
